Field of Membership

PAC Federal Credit Union, Charter Number 22280, Hamtramck, Michigan

Section 5 of the charter shall read as follows:

"The field of membership shall be limited to those having the following common bonds:

  1. Natural person, dues-paying members of the Polish American Congress, Michigan Division, who qualify for membership in accordance with the association’s constitution and bylaws as of February 3, 1976, and who live in the State of Michigan;
  2. Members of the St. Andrew Parish Community Credit Union as of June 30, 1983, the effective date of its merger with Polish American Congress of Michigan Federal Credit Union;
  3. Members of the Polish Scouting Organization, located in Sterling Heights, Michigan, who qualify for membership in accordance with the association’s constitution and bylaws as of February 24, 1993;
  4. Members of the Foundation and Center of the 2nd Polish Corps at Orchard Lake Schools, in Orchard Lake, Michigan, who qualify for membership in accordance with the organization’s constitution and bylaws as of April 2, 1993;
  5. Members of the American Polish Cultural Center, in Troy, Michigan, who qualify for membership in accordance with the organization’s constitution and bylaws as of April 2, 1993;
  6. Members of the American Polish Engineering Association in Madison Heights, Michigan, who qualify for membership in accordance with the association’s constitution and bylaws as of May 26, 1993;
  7. Members of the Pope John Paul II Society, P.R.C.U.A. No. 1593, in Warren, Michigan, who qualify for membership in accordance with the association’s constitution and bylaws as of May 12, 1994;
  8. Members of record of the St. Linus Credit Union as of the effective date of merger; registered members of St. Linus Parish and St. Sabina Parish located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan;
  9. Members of record of the St. Ladislaus Credit Union as of the effective date of merger; registered members and employees of St. Ladislaus Parish, St. Florian Parish and Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish in Hamtramck, Michigan; employees of the City of Hamtramck who work in Hamtramck, Michigan; employees of Hamtramck Public Schools who work in Hamtramck, Michigan; employees of All Star Amusement who work in Detroit, Michigan.
  10. Members of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Sterling Heights, MI who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws as of 7/27/2009.
  11. Members of American-Polish Century Club in Sterling Heights, MI who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws as of 9/15/2009.
  12. Members of White Eagle Sports Club in Troy, MI who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws as of Nov. 19, 2009.

and, also included are spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of the immediate family or household; organizations of such persons."
